When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed to guests because of a function. They put us in a room right next to the function room and people were smoking and swearing on our balcony all night. Our children were kept awake as were we. We asked to be moved but were told they were booked out because of the function. When I rang the desk again at 11pm and it diverted to the manager at home he said "too bad" so I rang the police but they said it was on private premises and they couldn't do anything. The room was tired looking and filthy, with cobwebs all over the ceiling. It also was not a family room but a tiny double with bunk beds squashed in. The rudeness and lack of interest from the manager was appaling and he denied saying we could not eat in the restaurant. We had to strike it off as a bad experience and will tell everyone we know never to stay there. It was not worth $100 per night let alone $200. We don't mind spending $800 when we know what we are getting. WE are magazine publishers and will make sure clients know also.

We loved the position, the outlook & the friendly staff. The bedroom very clean with most comfortable matress. The restaurant was welcoming and food delicious. We will return and recommend it.

That we didn't stayed long enough.

The location was excellent and close to shops and good eating places

Our room had no balcony and no access to fresh air relied on air conditioning

The receptionist (Tara or tamara) was absolutely awesome. She was able to assist us with all enquiries and made our stay extremely comfortable, and welcoming. She was very friendly and nothing we needed seemed to be a bother to her. I would definately stay again and highly recommend this hotel to others, especially after the service we received from the receptionist. She made it a most enjoyable stay. Thankyou

Wld have liked the beds to have a separate rooms within the room. Eg two bedroom. A toaster wld have been handy too.

Great location and lovely rooms, the balcony was terrific as the breeze cooled in the evening. Nice hotel and not too expensive.

The hotel is in a good location on the river and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The Receptionist was friendly and helpful.

      Location

Young receptioninst on Saturday early evening (1st Dec) very unacommodating in her manner. Our room was down-stairs, looking onto the carpark with what sounded like a rugby team next to us. I asked if we could be moved. She said they were full and that was that. Went to have a drink on the deck outside, got asked to move as there was a xmas function arriving (no indication for us to see) so we were moved onto the grass which was littered with cigarette butts. It was happy hour and the small bar out-side was unattended.

      Great location

Booked a "family room for 4" and got a standard room with bunks and a double. Much too small for the bedding. Would not stay again.

Our room just perfect with Parking outside a plus. Very close to shops and Restaurants. Peter and Leonie Jonsson

Only that the room was just a little bit dated ,but that's what we expected for that price we paid in such a prime location.

Location was the only thing. Hotel and entrance looked very good but once in room it was very dark and dismal, it was an adjoining room so was very noisy from the people in the next room. Supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out the following morning.

It was like staff were going out of their way to be rude to me!

Thought the restaraunt was great, the bar area was cozy, easy access to our room from the side street car park and very close to shops. Only stayed one night so didn't really use all the facilities but all and all thought it was a nice hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Main reason wasn't just price it was location and facility also.

      It was great

no lift to the floor above and would not stay there if unable to placed on the ground floor No winge about anything else We are in our 70ties
